It's Saturday, April 7th - the day before Easter. The Easter I remember most was April 11th, 1982. It was Mark's 10th birthday, I got baptized, and it was Easter!! What a great day! Easter has only fallen on April 11th once since then - 2004.
A typical Saturday at the O'Neal household? I get up sometime between 7 and 9, eat cereal, turn on the Food Network and catch up with the e-mails. Brian gets up between 11 and 1. Actually, it's ok with me (as long as we don't have anywhere to go), because it gives me some 'me' time and he gets to sleep in (one of his favorite things to do). Although I do have the bad habit of acting like he's a lazy bum when he rolls out of bed at 1 in the afternoon - when in all actuality, I haven't done a thing all day either. I am trying to get better at this...
I'm so ready for Spring. High of 46 today. It was 78 on Tuesday... oh well, at least the flowers are starting to come out and the bird songs are in the air. It's got to be here soon now, right? Spring is my favorite time of the year. It represents The New. Trees, leaves, flowers, birds, grass, even the air seems new. I tend to feel a little depressed in the winter and Spring is just what the doctor ordered!!
